Extended hours survey

The Pre-school is looking at demand for extending its current opening hours to meet with the government's promise to offer 30 hours of free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds through The Childcare Bill. The government's offer of 30 hours free childcare is expected to be implemented from September 2017.

In order to help consider the viability of extended childcare, the Pre-school is also re-considering offering before and after school childcare for primary school aged children, and care in the school holidays.

Freshford Pre-school have designed two surveys to assess the extent of this need. The information will feed into the future development plans of Freshford Pre-school, and also influence the designs for a redeveloped Freshford Memorial Hall as included in the Freshford and Limpley Stoke Neighbourhood Plan.

Survey A for parents of children who will be below school age in September 2016.
Please complete this survey if your child is already booked to attend Freshford Pre-school in September 2016 or you are planning for them to attend at a future date. Please also complete this survey if your child is not currently booked to attend Freshford Pre-school, but you may consider the Pre-school if it offered longer operating hours.

Survey B for parents of children who will be starting Freshford Primary School in September 2016 or are already at Freshford Primary School.

Please complete this survey if you will have at least one child at Freshford Primary School from September 2016.

If you have children who will fall into both categories in September 2016, please complete both surveys.

Thank you for your contribution.
